The history of the company BN "NAFTOMONTAŻ" Sp. z o.o. in Krosno dates back to January 1963, when Zakład Budowy Kopalń Naftowych (Crude Oil Wells Construction Plant) was established in Krosno. Previously forming part of the state enterprise Kopalnictwo Naftowe "Karpaty" in Krosno, the plant became a separate business unit to handle construction and installation works related to construction and development of crude oil wells.
1967 - The plant expands the range of its products and services, and commences comprehensive management of exposed high-methane gas deposits near Przemyśl, establishing the Independent Construction Group, Branch in Przemyśl.
1969 - NAFTOMONTAŻ commences management of crude oil deposits in the Polish Lowlands, and in the following years its activity spreads all over Poland, where crude oil and natural gas deposits were discovered, forming the Executive Group, Branch in Ostrów Wielkopolski (now the Ostrów Wielkopolski Works Group).
1972 - Apart from the deposits management programme, the plant constructs natural gas compressor stations and underground storage.
1988 - NAFTOMONTAŻ commences construction of gas transmission pipelines, and gas mains up to 400 mm in diameter and up to 6.4 MPa pressure.
In 1970s and 1980s, the plant carried out dynamic investment policies, building technical and social back-up facilities in Krosno, Przemyśl, and Ostrów Wielkopolski, as well as, the hotel in Krosno. Until 31 July 1998, NAFTOMONTAŻ operated as part of PGNiG S.A. in Warsaw.
01.08.1998 - NAFTOMONTAŻ becomes a legal entity - a commercial law company, and since December it has used the quality assurance system in compliance with DIN EN ISO 9002/PN ISO 9002 .
01.01.2001 - Twosubsidiaries controlled by Naftomontaż are founded: "NAFT-TRANS" Sp. z o.o. and "NAFT-STAL" Sp. z o.o. that start operating as separate companies.
2002 - BN "NAFTOMONTAŻ" Sp. z o.o. is awarded conformity certificate PN-EN 729-2 : 1997 "Welding. Welding of metals. Complete welding quality requirements" by the Polish Welding Centre of Excellence in Gliwice.

2004 - Having been positively evaluated during the certification audit carried out by TÜV - Munich in December 2004, BN "NAFTOMONTAŻ" Sp. z o.o. was awarded conformity certificates relating to standards mentioned above.
